Same Sex Intimate Fall Wedding at the Pavilion at Mixon Farms, Bradenton, Florida

WEDDING DATE We got married on October 15, 2020 and planned it around potentially going to Switzerland. We honeymooned in Alaska instead.

THE PROPOSAL We were in Malaga, Spain at Castillo Gibralfaro. I was so nervous, I stopped talking and Tiffany thought I was mad. When I got down on one knee, she scowled at me until she saw the ring because she thought I was joking. Then I forgot to put the ring on her and ran off because I gave my phone to someone so they could take our picture.

WEDDING PLANNING MANTRA Our mantra was "a little at a time." We were engaged for two years and made one big decision per month.

FAVORITE MOMENT Our favorite moment was the first look. We had seen each other in our dresses before alterations happened but when we saw each other and everything had come together, it was incredible.

THE DRESSES My (Jessica) dress was totally different than what I thought I wanted. I tried it on second and tried on 5 or 6 more after but knew it was the one. We went shopping together with our respective mothers and sisters. Tiffany's dress was completely different than what she thought she wanted, too. She didn't want to try it on, but when she did she couldn't stop dancing in it and knew it was the one.

BEST ADVICE When things get stressful, remember why you're doing it.

THREE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE OUR DAY Surreal. Breathtaking. Exciting.

TIFFANY SAYS … Jessica has the biggest heart and compassion for others. Jessica also has this drive to be the best at home and at work. She is my best friend and the best partner. I always feel loved and safe with her. I can be myself, flaws and all, and still be perfect in her eyes.

JESSICA SAYS … Tiffany is the biggest blessing I have had in my life. She challenges me to see things from a different perspective and she encourages me to be the best version of myself. Wherever she is, is home. I couldn't dream of a better partner.

BUT ALSO … The day went so fast that I didn't get eat enough of the wonderful food.
