Rainy Valentine's Day Engagement Session at Hillsborough River State Park

Matthew is in the Marine Corps and is stationed in North Carolina. He decided to propose to Elizabeth on Valentine’s Day weekend. The secret plan was to convince Elizabeth that he had duty that weekend and wouldn’t be able to see her, but in reality he was already boarding a plane to Tampa.

Elizabeth’s parents took her out to dinner and after their meal they decided on dessert, which was in another room. When the got to the dessert room (very fancy restaurant style) Elizabeth was surprised to see Matthew waiting for her - on one knee with a ring!

I don’t know about you but the icing on that cake sounds quite perfect!

We did their engagement session the very next day on Valentine’s Day at Hillsborough River State Park.
