Small Honeymoon Island Elopement

WEDDING DATE March 7, 2020. We chose this date because everyone we wanted to attend would be able to make it.

THE PROPOSAL Dustin proposed the day after Christmas. We came home from visiting my family. I am always sad to leave my family so we decided to exchange our gifts. We always fill stockings for each other and the ring was in my stocking. I was completely surprised and he did it all on his own.

WEDDING PLANNING MANTRA It all came together so quickly. Our whole goal was keeping the wedding small and simple.

FAVORITE MOMENT My favorite moment was seeing Dustin there waiting to marry me and how happy he was.

THE DRESS Since it was a beach ceremony, I took my best friend Kate to try on sundresses with me. They were all just okay. I ended up trying on a long dress at a department store and we both knew we had to go to a bridal store. I ended up trying 5 on and went with the first one.

BEST ADVICE Remember it truly is about the couple and what you both want to remember forever.
