Destination Five Year Vow Renewal at Bell Rock, Sedona, Arizona

I don’t think I say this nearly enough but I LOVE doing vow renewals and I think everyone should do a vow renewal every five years. It’s a chance to truly reflect and communicate your commitment to one another. It’s a chance to get dressed up and take some epic photos (because epic love deserves epic photos, am I right?!). And it’s a chance to go on an adventure, explore somewhere new and make incredible memories with the love of your life.

My friend Julie and her husband Justin live in Tampa, Florida and wanted to do their five year vow renewal at Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona. When she asked if I wanted to tag along and be their photographer I absolutely said YES. I definitely didn’t have to think twice about that answer!

I had been to Sedona, Arizona on my way to the Grand Canyon in September of 2020 and LOVED how beautiful it was but at the time I didn’t have any photo sessions lined up for the area and was dying to go back. This was the perfect opportunity.

However, I probably would not recommend going in the middle of June. The temperatures were at 100 degrees by 8 a.m. To beat the heat we started hiking Bell Rock at 5:30 a.m.!
