Retro Bike-Themed Engagement Session, Minneapolis, Minnesota
My hometown bestie is getting married next year! Shannon and Isaac are getting married in the Dominican Republic and I’m so thrilled to be bringing my team with me to capture all the best moments.
These two have a love for biking so it was obvious we had to incorporate that into the engagement session. We did their session at two different parks in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was a hot summer day and the vibrant colors made it feel like we were really preparing for the tropical climate in the Dominican Republic. This wedding is going to be off the charts memorable and I can’t wait!
However, I will say it was also a re-learning experience for me because it’s not often that I get to photography my REALLY REALLY good friends and now I remember why — because I ended up shooting the crap out of this session and loving every single frame so much that I had a really hard time narrowing it down. Just a quick switch of my brain to focus and tame it down a bit and we were good to go tho! Easy peasy!
