Happy National Dog Mom Day!

I was reminded on social media the other day that today is National Dog Mom day. That’s me!

If you don’t know, I’m dog mom to two rescue pups, Lola and Maverick.

Lola is a 2.5-year-old pit/lab mix. She’s very sweet and most people comment on her one white sock — it’s pretty adorable if I do say so myself. PLUS she made the cover of a magazine.

Maverick is a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois/Lab mix. He’s very smart and energetic. He gets the most compliments when we’re out on walks, which I think because he has good form and his perky ears and happy/curious demeanor create some laughable expressions. PLUS I have photos of him as a 2-month-old puppy!
