Destination Engagement Session in Minneapolis, Minnesota

I think I stressed out a little bit more than most with this engagement shoot because it was truly a destination shoot. I was living in Omaha, Ryan in North Carolina and Olga in Michigan. But I arrived early enough to scout our location (a favorite apple orchard of the couple) and all of that travel stress went away the more I wandered. I kid you not, this apple orchard was the epitome of a fall scene. On top of that, it was perfectly overcast.

The combination of weather, season and couple could not have been more perfect. And I know I say that quite a bit but I was so giddy at this shoot. So much so that I was admittedly geeking out and sending location pics to my mom like, “OMG can you even believe this is where I get to shoot tonight?!”

Turns out Olga and I both enjoy listening to Reggaetón and absolutely made that our shoot playlist to set the mood – even I was dancing!
