Colorful Spring Wedding at the Sheraton in Omaha

Heyoooo! I'm currently writing from Naples, Florida. I wasn't really intending to do "work" while I'm on vacation, but being able to sit and catch up on some posts is making me feel less stressed and that's what vacation is all about right? De-stressing. 

So, today I'm sharing Lauren and Nick's super sweet wedding. And aside from the fact that these two are obviously perfect for one another, I wanted to share something about their day that was really cool from a photographer's perspective.

One reason I typically suggest an engagement session with my couples is because it gives us a chance to get to know one another and how we work together in front of and behind the camera because it can be a little different for everyone. Anyway, I didn't end up doing an engagement session for Lauren and Nick so on the day of their wedding. And in the middle of their first look when they were just being themselves, they did their own thing -- making a heart with their hands. It was such a cute little thing about their relationship that I noticed on their wedding and made it all the more romantic. I kept an eye out for more of those little moments between them throughout the day.
